Digital Signage

What does 'digital signage' mean?

To display advertisement or other informative multimedia content, like still images, animation and videos using digital-, LCD or LED displays.

A content delivery system that comprises digital screens and software components that allow remote management over the internet.

In shops, offices, museums or public space, it encompasses use cases ranging from simple playlist items repeated from a USB stick to multi-location or vehicle installations of large format displays networked and controlled remotely.

Its functionality is not restricted to simple playlists, however. Using sensors, timed events or external data, it can react to changes in its surroundings.
