What we do

We deliver custom solutions for businesses that:

  • already have the idea, but need help with the implementation, or
  • have met an IT challenge but are not aware of the possible solutions,
  • out-of-the-box solutions are unfit or are simply too expensive,
  • have a legacy application that they need to maintain, or rewrite.

We prefer and are committed to supporting and using open source solutions. We work with Linux desktop- and server environments.

Our strengths

We always use system approach, as the notion that the whole is more than the sum of its parts applies, especially in IT projects.

Not being familiar with, or ignorance to business processes, their roles and actors, the interdependencies, the IT environment and the subtleties of operations of a business scenario a software application is intended to support is often the Achilles-heel of software development projects that can result in incorrect specifications, an unfit deliverable, or a never-ending project that does not deliver at all. We get along with business managers, subject-matter experts, power users and developers alike and aim to consciously avoid these mistakes when working together.

We know and use Atlassian's solutions (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) in the various phases of the lifecycle of a project.

We have lead-developer experience and can join your internal software teams as external developers/consultants, if needed on-site.

We advocate and value internal documentation and knowledge-sharing.

Back-end

With active knowledge of PHP (Laravel), Node.js, Java/Spring Framework, script languages, API design, TCP/IP, HTTP and other application protocols we have gained years of experience using these technologies in various projects.

We also deal with system integration of relational- (SQL) and document (NoSQL) storage, web servers and other network software.

Front-end

We don't insist on frameworks and technologies. We always aim to choose the best tool for the job. We have ample knowledge of native Javascript, MVC/MVVM architectures, HTML5, CSS (LESS, SCSS) and front-end build/dependency management to be able to productively contribute to any web project.

Sencha Ext JS

We have nearly a decade of experience in developing web applications based on the Sencha Ext JS platform. We offer the following services:

  • designing and implementing web applications,
  • modernizing or converting an existing application to a web application,
  • design and development of custom components,
  • code review and performance consultancy,
  • version migration.
